Ash-Shaykh Muqbil bin Hady rahimahullah
Question: I live in a family that many underestimate the Shari’ah of Allah, if I want to prohibit them from something that is unjust as to remove the photos on the wall or a television or a song or music, they say: “You’re too loud.” So how my attitude towards this?
If they want to rule by the Qur’an and Sunnah, then say to them: “The law applicable between me and you is the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi was sallam.” And I advise you that they preach; a gentle way and smooth and patience with them, hopefully in a way that God will give guidance to mereka.Tetapi if you worry about you will terfitnah (drift -pent) if it had stayed with them or you are not able to be with them and you are able to leave them in circumstances you sure will not suffer harm, then you should stay away from them if you have despair of them, and thou shalt continue to pray for them. And if you stay with them in a state of hate kemungkaran their hearts, so fear Allah, he could.
Whoever looks kemungkaran then let him change with his hand, if he is not able then with his tongue, if he is not able to also then with his heart and that is the least of weak faith. “
